A missed opportunity to distribute free tax preparation information.
This past week I accompanied a group of Boston area immigrants and refugees to the Spring Job Fair at Goodwill in Roxbury. I’ll let the photograph describe the current state of our “economic recovery.”
As a 2011 Boston EITC tax site, you might assume that the site coordinator or someone at Goodwill would have used this golden opportunity to advertise the coalition’s services. Obviously not.
One thousand unemployed people looking for help. No flyers. No indoor signs. No EITC outeach table.
